Cabin interpreters from Berlineo participated in the 7th GT Technology Workshop held on 8 September 2022 in Toruń. They were responsible for translating the lectures of the foreign speakers.
Interpretation for the oil industry
The GT Technology Workshop was the first of two oil industry-related conferences where Berlineo simultaneous interpreters were engaged. It should be noted that this year's edition of the workshop was the second in a row to be serviced by our interpreting agency. The year before, the quality of interpretation exceeded the organiser's expectations, so this year they decided without a second thought to opt for our offer.
Topics covered included the petroleum industry in its broadest sense, geophysical surveys, innovations in data acquisition or seismic data processing and interpretation.
It should be particularly noted that the interpreting service for this event was provided by interpreters from Poznan. However, Berlineo's Poznan colleagues provide translation and interpreting support to our clients not only in Poland. Together, we carry out assignments in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and Turkey, among others.
Renewable energy sources - Berlineo provides professional translations
The event also discussed energy transition and renewable energy sources. These topics are very important in relation to climate change. This makes us all the more pleased to be able to support events that are environmentally friendly.
In this respect, we also translate the documentation for photovoltaic panels and the equipment necessary for their operation. Some time ago, I personally participated as an interpreter in negotiations between Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A. and a wind farm manufacturer, which lasted almost a year.
And in one month's time, we have another scheduled event organised by the Oil and Gas Institute, which also deals with the topic of energy transition.
